The mist eliminator is used to separate the liquid entrained droplets in the tower during use, thus ensuring mass transfer efficiency, reducing valuable material loss and improving the operation of the post-column compressor, generally at the top of the tower. If a mist eliminator is installed between the trays, it can not only ensure the mass transfer efficiency of the tray, but also reduce the board spacing. Therefore, the mist eliminator is mainly used for gas-liquid separation. An air filter can also be used for gas separation. In addition, the screen can also be used as a buffer for various meters in the instrument industry to prevent electronic interference caused by radio waves.
Advantages of the mist eliminator
1. Defogging efficiency: Under normal operating conditions, the concentration of droplets in the flue gas at the exit of the demister is lower than 75mg/Nm3.
2. Pressure drop: The interference before and after the defogger is not considered, ensuring that the pressure of the entire demister system is reduced to 120Pa under 100% smoke load.
3. High temperature resistance: 80--95 °C.
4. Withstand voltage: Ensure that the blade can work normally when the flushing water pressure is 0.3MPa.
5. Flushing nozzle: Full cone nozzle, the washing water spray angle is 90-120 degrees, and the solid cone is sprayed to ensure that the blades are completely covered. (Designed for water consumption at maximum gas load, taking into account the system water balance requirements, if the gas load is reduced, the water consumption can be reduced by half by increasing the flush interval).
