Vane impingement mist eliminators function and blade form
- Oct 22, 2018 -

The vane impingement mist eliminators can be used to remove the droplets carried by the flue gas, and is composed of an upper and lower secondary defogger and a flushing water system in the absorption tower. After the purified flue gas, after passing through the two-stage horizontal mist eliminator, the slurry droplets carried by the slurry are removed. The small droplets separated from the flue gas slowly condense into larger droplets, which then slide down the blades of the demister to the slurry pool.

Generally, the body portion of the vane impingement mist eliminators is assembled from a defogger blade, a fixture, a clamp, a bracket, and the like according to a certain structural form. Its function is to collect droplets and a small amount of dust in the flue gas, reduce the flue gas and water, and prevent the fan from vibrating.

For a blade impact demister, the blade is the most basic and important component of its structure. The performance of its performance has a crucial impact on the operation of the entire defogging system. The mist eliminator blades are usually made of high-molecular materials or stainless steel. There are many types of defogger blades, which can be divided into polygonal line type and streamline type according to geometric shape. According to structural features, it can be divided into two-channel blades and three-channel blades.
